Project Description
The project covers an area of about 10 km2. It features a direct current installed capacity of 560 MW, over one-million PV panels, and a supporting 220 kV step-up substation.
The plant is expected to supply clean electricity to about 256 000 Egyptian households a year and reduce CO2 emissions by an estimated 760 000 t/y.
